May 30 - Crisp Point LighthouseThe Crisp Point Lighthouse has a fixed red Fourth Order lens located at a focal plane of 62 feet. The light was built in 1905.
May 31st - The Eagle Harbor Lighthouse has stood watch over Lake Superior since 1850. Located at the northern tip of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, Eagle Harbor Lighthouse is one of the most picturesque lights on the Lake. On this quiet May morning, the loons were playing in front of the light, while I floated in my kayak on the crystal clear waters of the mighty lake.
Trilliums cover the forest floor during late May and continue the procession of wildflower.
