October 24th - Evening Reflection Evening clouds reflect into the waters of Caribou Lake. With colors now fading across the northland, you can look to the sunrises and sunsets for brilliant saturated colors, and when reflected into calm waters, doubles the beauty. October 25 - Autumn Falls During the last week of October, the soft light and rustling leaves leave us with a reminder of days past and the hope of long days in a few months. Late autumn is a time of rest and reflection: a gift to give thanks. Come to me, all who labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
October 26 - Superior Power A 40-knot Northeast wind pushes the icy water of Lake Superior onto the lichen-covered rocks at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park.
