Jay Cooke is one of the most geographically interesting of Minnesota State Parks. Bedrock formations of the St. Louis River, are pitched to a 45 degree angle by ground pressure.
Jay Cooke State Park was established in 1915 when the St. Louis Power Company donated 2,350 acres of land for that purpose.
