Autumn in the Northland comes early with the first leaves beginning to change by late August. The landscape is in full autumn beauty by late September and colors peak by early October. There is no season so beautiful in the Northland as when the blazing colors of Autumn cover the hillsides and reflect into the streams and lakes.
