Want to share a select group of galleries with one click? Sharegroups make it possible.

Example: Your team celebrates its success by dying their hair green. You create two unlisted galleries and want to create one URL for both.

Where to Find Them:

When you're logged in, go to your Control Panel and you'll find a Sharegroups link in the Customize tab.

Click it and you'll see a spot to create and modify sharegroups.

Create one:

1. Click the New Sharegroup button.
2. You'll be asked for a title and an (optional) description.
3. Click save.
4. Click the Pick galleries link by the group you just created.
5. Thumbnail images of your galleries will appear. Click to select them.
6. Selected galleries will have red borders. Click save group.
7. That's all there is to it.

To share, just highlight the URL using your mouse. Then copy it and you'll be able to paste it into an email, instant message, or forum post to show your friends.

Note: You can always modify, delete, or arrange the list of Sharegroups by clicking links with those names on your sharegroup page.

Gotcha: If you include unlisted galleries in a sharegroup, those galleries may be visible to you on your SmugMug homepage after you visit the sharegroup. Your Internet browser is simply "remembering" that you've seen those galleries before and displaying them as a convenience. No worries, though. Visitors will not see them there unless they, too, have visited the sharegroup already.
